Carbohydrate intake in diabetes: how much is optimal?
Authors
Abstract
Nutritional advice that has little or no supporting evidence is still being given to people with diabetes. Advice pertaining to carbohydrate can be misleading. People with diabetes need evidence‐based information about carbohydrates and to be given the knowledge and skills necessary to adjust their lifestyle, medication and/or insulin around the choices they wish to make.
