Annual review of diabetes: Patients' views
Authors
Abstract
A questionnaire survey of 625 consecutive patients attending for their second annual review diabetes clinic in a hospital setting was conducted in order to ascertain patients' views. Seventy‐eight per cent were satisfied with the annual review clinic though 25% considered the time interval between hospital visits was too long. The questionnaire revealed that the biochemistry investigation results obtained during the annual review visit had not been explained adequately and that the use of co‐operation cards was far from complete. Modifications to the annual review clinic have been made as a result of the questionnaire.
