Abstract
Even well controlled diabetics may have macrosomic babies. We describe an anxious well controlled diabetic patient whose first baby was not macrosomic, in her second pregnancy, her guilt reaction to a “large for dates” fetus led to repeated hypoglycaemia from misguided attempts to improve her control.
