A case of diabetic muscle infarction
Authors
Abstract
Spontaneous muscle infarction is a rare complication of long‐standing diabetes, which most commonly involves the thigh. We report a 27‐year old patient with type 1 diabetes who experienced infarction of the anterior compartment of the leg, which resulted in potential nerve injury and a permanent foot drop.
